🌟 5年生 英語発表会レポート 🌟
12月15日、5年生による英語の発表会が開催されました。
クリスマス直前の時期に合わせ、会場となった日本間は素敵なクリスマスの飾り付けが施され、入っただけで楽しくなるような、わくわくする空間となっていました。
発表会では、「買い物をする場面」をテーマにした2つのスキット（寸劇）が披露されました。
1. 🎮 Amazonでの会話（Switch 2の購入）
店員（L）と客（Y）が「Switch 2」の購入をめぐって交わす、具体的なやり取りです。

【発表を終えて】
複雑な値段のやり取りや、“rechargeable” (充電式) や “flappuchino” (フラペチーノ) といった専門的な単語も含まれる、かなり高度な内容でしたが、5年生の皆さんはしっかりと発音し、堂々と立派な発表を披露しました。
このように、一人ひとりが主役となって役割を持ち、生き生きと活動できることは、和田小学校のような少人数の学校ならではの大きな長所となっています。素晴らしい発表会でした！
The 5th-grade English presentation day was held on December 15th. Coinciding with the approaching Christmas season, the Japanese-style room (Nihonma) used as the venue was beautifully decorated with festive Christmas ornaments, creating a wonderful and exciting space that felt joyful just upon entering.
During the presentation, two skits focusing on the theme of “shopping scenes” were performed.
1. 🎮 Conversation at Amazon (Purchasing a Switch 2)
A concrete exchange between a store clerk (L) and a customer (Y) regarding the purchase of a “Switch 2.”

【After the Presentation】
The content was quite advanced, involving complex price transactions and specialized vocabulary like “rechargeable” and “flappuchino.” Nevertheless, all the 5th-grade students delivered a strong and confident presentation with clear pronunciation.
The ability for every student to take a leading role and participate actively like this is a significant advantage of a small school like Wada Elementary. It was a wonderful presentation!
